All employees of schools in the ACT must have Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration. This registration is mandatory under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011. It is not necessary to have WWVP registration at the time of applying for a job at Canberra Grammar School, however this registration must be obtained prior to commencing employment at the school. All teachers in the ACT must be registered through the Teacher Quality Institute (TQI). This registration is mandatory under the ACT Teacher Quality Institute Act 2010. It is not necessary to have TQI registration at the time of applying for a teaching position at Canberra Grammar School, however this registration must be obtained before you will be permitted to teach in the classroom.
