Recently, the talented Canberra Musician and CGS Music Assistant, Mr Leonard Weiss, was named the 2016 Young Canberra Citizen of the Year for Youth Arts and Multimedia.
Leonard received the award ‘for exceptional efforts in sharing, enhancing and contributing to Canberra’s musical landscape’ in recognition of his local profile conducting the Canberra Youth Orchestra, National Capital Orchestra, ANU Choral Society and Canberra Qwire, as well as for being the Classical H-Course Coordinator at the ANU and long history at Canberra Grammar School.
