Houses
The House system in the Junior School provides opportunities for students to share time together in multi-age groups. Through the House system, children learn to take responsibility for one another – for those older than themselves, those younger than themselves and for their peers.
Within the Primary School there are four House groups. All students in the Primary School, from Years 3 to 6, are members of a Primary School House.

When moving into the senior section of Canberra Grammar School (Years 7 – 12) students are allocated to a new House system reflective of the larger school and differing pastoral arrangements.
