The Curriculum Year 7 to Year 10
Canberra Grammar School caters to a diverse range of learners. Our curriculum and our approaches to learning and teaching are informed by our aspiration that students be intelligent, innovative and international in their approach to life. In an era that will be dominated by such challenges as rapid globalisation, environmental change and extraordinary technological advancement, our students will need the curiosity to research information , the critical capacity to analyse complex problems a, the creativity to find solution and the confidence to lead.
Canberra Grammar School offers a varied curriculum to all learners that is both appropriate to meeting these needs and vibrant in its offerings.
We follow the Australian Curriculum and the ACT Every chance to learn curriculum framework. The School has fully implemented the Australian Curriculum Version 7.5 (and are moving towards Version 8.0) for available core subject offerings and other learning areas still being developed in the Australian Curriculum will continue to be taught from the ACT Curriculum Framework until the Australian Curriculum for these learning areas is progressively completed.
