The Picasso Cow Project from Dairy Australia – a project dedicated to encouraging teachers to educate primary school-aged children about the Australian dairy industry and the health and nutrition benefits of dairy foods as part of a balanced diet – proved to be a rewarding educational experience for the Year 2 children at CGS, and we are proud to announce that they have won the competition for 2015.
The project enables children to be creative in their learning and apply their knowledge about how the world is organised, and the processes involved in getting produce from ‘Farm to Plate’.
