We’re delighted to share that Primary and Senior students Ethan, Mason, and Oscar participated in the Water Polo U13 National Development Carnival in Tasmania these school holidays, representing the ACT. They expressed CGS core values in their sportsmanship, support and encouragement of their teammates, both in and out of the water. Well done!

House Music 2025 blew the roof off the Snow Concert Hall to cap off an extraordinary Semester One at Canberra Grammar School! Well done to everyone who performed, as well as staff and students behind the scenes who made an incredible two days possible, and – of course – congratulations to Sheaffe House for coming away on top!

What an amazing week Primary School had with their ‘Colour-a-thon’ themed Walk-a-Thon! It was fantastic to see such excitement from our students and community.

A huge thank you to Steve K. in Year 5, for campaigning for the ‘colour’ component to be a part of this year’s Walk-a-Thon. He has worked tirelessly since last year to make this event happen, and it was a huge success.

Funds raised from the Walk-a-Thon will go towards various enriching facilities around Red Hill and Northside campuses, and any excess funds will be donated to a charity chosen by the SRC.Image attachmentImage attachment+3Image attachment

A huge congratulations to Year 12 students Sidney, Harry, and Victor who are the winners of the 2025 Bond University National High School Mooting Competition!

After months of preparation and a gripping Grand Final on Saturday at Bond University against worthy opponents, Prince Alfred College, the team from Canberra Grammar School rose to the occasion, demonstrating outstanding legal reasoning, courtroom advocacy, and teamwork under pressure. Both Sidney and Harry received Honourable Mentions for Advocacy in the Preliminary Round. Harry was also awarded Runner-Up Best Oralist in the Semi-Finals, and Best Oralist in the Grand Final. Both advocates were ably supported by Victor, the team’s instructing solicitor.

This prestigious national event saw 63 schools from across Australia compete, making this achievement even more remarkable.

We are incredibly proud of our students, and grateful for the support of their coaches who have guided them along the way. Thank you for inspiring excellence and representing our school with such integrity and intellect.
