Year 11 and 12 Ancient History students were visited by members of the National Military Reenactment Group who shared their extensive knowledge of what it was like to live and fight as part of the ancient Roman army. Students loved the hands-on experience which included getting to try on the incredibly heavy chainmail, wield a variety of Roman and Celtic weapons, and learn all the different ways a shield could be used in battle.
