David Carr joined the Canberra Grammar School Board in 2015. He is a member of the CGS Alumni (1978 – 1984) and his son is a current student. David recently returned to Canberra after many years living and working in Asia.
David has over 30 years commercial and investment banking experience leading high performing teams in Global Financial Markets. He has been Managing Director, Global Head of Sales for Standard Chartered Bank and for ANZ Bank based in Singapore. Prior to that he had similar roles at Macquarie Bank and Bankers Trust Australia based in Sydney. He was also Global Head of e-Commerce, on the Executive Forum, and a Diversity and Inclusion board member for Standard Chartered. |
