Houses & Tutor Groups

The House system plays a vital role in the Senior School. It brings students together and encourages them to mentor and support each other, with older students assisting younger ones.

Students are allocated a house when they join CGS. They are then put into smaller tutor groups within their House, overseen by Tutors, Head of Student Houses and student representative leaders. This not only improves academic outcomes it also builds confidence and supports social development.

The vertical structure of the Housing system gives students continuity throughout their years at the School. The system ensures students always have someone they know to turn to when needed.
