CURRICULUM, LEARNING AND TEACHING
CGS has a proud tradition of academic success. Our students develop critical-thinking capacities that set them up with the confidence to lead and find creative solutions in a complex world.
LEARN MORECanberra Grammar School has established the Senior School as a well-balanced environment that supports our students to be leaders of the future. The School has a proud tradition of academic success, with the great majority of our students choosing to attend university and further their education. In 2023, 80% of our Year 12 graduates obtained early university offers before receiving their results. Our students are encouraged to develop critical-thinking capacities to have the confidence to lead, and to find creative solutions in a complex world, in which they should be an active and compassionate citizen. Located on the Red Hill campus, the Senior School is home to outstanding facilities that complement our academic, co-curricular and pastoral programmes.
Our staff are exceptionally dedicated. Heads of Houses, Chaplains, School Psychologists, a Defence School Mentor, an Inclusive Learning Department are all supported by the Senior School Leadership Team and form a group of highly engaged professionals that supports vibrant and constructive interactions between students and their teachers. Please see below for Senior School contacts and further information.
