Open Days at Canberra Grammar School are a wonderful way to explore our spacious campus, meet our staff and students, and discover what makes CGS unique. Canberra was recently named the world’s best city for quality of life by Time Out, underscoring the vibrant, safe, and welcoming community that surrounds and supports our students.
Canberra Grammar School encourages prospective families to attend an Open Day to get to know the School better and hear from current students about their Canberra Grammar School experience.
If you’re joining us from a regional area or overseas, we’d be delighted to meet you at an Expo and answer your questions. We also hold a number of Regional Visits throughout the year.
Our Open Days offer a full experience of CGS life, including guided tours, an informative session including a Q&A, and the chance to speak directly with students and faculty over morning tea.

Throughout the year, CGS connects with families across regional Australia through a range of events designed to showcase our community, boarding life, and learning opportunities. Our CGS Hosts events offer an immersive experience, bringing together current and prospective families to share a meal, meet our boarding and programme leaders, and explore academic, co-curricular, and boarding pathways. For a more relaxed introduction, CGS Pop-Ups provide an opportunity to meet key staff, ask questions, and discover if our School is the right fit.
